Alexis Tighe, Attorney at Law
Alexis Tighe is a trial-tested attorney whose practice serves clients in criminal defense, family law, guardian ad litem appointments, trusts and estates, contracts, business law, and general civil litigation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Washington’s Jackson School of International Studies in 2010 and her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law in 2014.
Ms. Tighe’s experience is unusually broad. She has served as both a prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney, and run a successful civil practice. She represents clients in criminal defense, family law, guardian ad litem matters, trusts and estates, contracts, business, and civil litigation. Having handled criminal cases from both sides of the courtroom—and having seen how often criminal and civil issues overlap, especially in family law—she brings substantial trial experience, strong negotiation skills, and a practical understanding of how legal problems unfold in real life. That background allows her to advocate effectively whether she is defending a client against criminal charges, negotiating a family law matter, or litigating a civil dispute.
Her civil practice includes family law, guardian ad litem work for both custody and adult guardianship matters, trusts and estates, contracts, and business issues. Time and again, she has seen how criminal and civil legal issues overlap, especially in family law. A DUI, protection order, domestic violence allegation, or criminal charge can directly affect custody, divorce, parenting time, and financial stability.
